产品描述	A murine monoclonal antibody to an epitope on C8 protein. This monoclonal Antibody was raised against purified human C8. It is specific for an Antigen expressed on native C8 as well as on C8 in the MAC. It will not inhibit the lysis of EA and will detect membrane bound MAC. Quidel's C8 monoclonal antibody has been used in a variety of experimental techniques including EIA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
特异性	The specificity of the monoclonal antibody was established via ELISA and RIA. This antibody was shown to bind immobilized C8 and immunoprecipitate highly purified, radiolabeled C8 protein. The antibody binds to C8 determinants exposed in the assembled MAC deposited on cell membranes.
